Fumsoft: Concurso levará startups mineiras para conhecer a Tech City em Londres
As empresas nascentes com base tecnológica (startups) de Minas Gerais têm agora uma grande chance para testar seu negócio, conhecer investidores e outros empreendedores e viajar para uma das mais renomadas aglomerações de startups do mundo. A Competição Startups Brasil/Reino Unido irá selecionar empresas de cinco estados brasileiros para visitar a Tech City, em Londres. A etapa para startups de Minas Gerais será promovida pela Fumsoft e já está com inscrições abertas.
O concurso é uma iniciativa da UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), departamento do governo britânico que estimula comércio e investimentos internacionais, e faz parte da Temporada UKBrasil, conjunto de ações para apresentar os pontos fortes do Reino Unido em diversas áreas.
A etapa Minas Gerais será realizada em duas fases: a pré-seleção é baseada na apresentação visual da empresa, que deve ser enviada por todas as candidatas. As empresas aprovadas participarão de uma banca de avaliação, a ser realizada no dia 18 de março de 2013.
A vencedora desta etapa regional se reunirá com as melhores colocadas de São Paulo, do Rio de Janeiro, de Porto Alegre e de Pernambuco para visitar a Tech City e participar do festival Digital Shoreditch, em maio deste ano. Em 2012, o evento atraiu mais de 6 mil pessoas e 300 palestrantes do Reino Unido e de outros países.
“As startups participantes precisam estar sediadas em Minas Gerais, ter um negócio altamente inovador e já estarem um pouco mais amadurecidas, com a empresa formalmente constituída”, ressalta a analista de Internacionalização da Fumsoft, Rita Carvalho.
Para realizar a inscrição, é preciso enviar um e-mail para comunica@fumsoft.org.br, informando razão social, CNPJ, contatos dos sócios (com telefone e e-mail) e, em anexo, a apresentação visual da startup, que deve ser montada de acordo com um modelo, que pode ser acessado aqui, e não deve exceder 12 slides.
